Hello Gang,

A couple days ago I asked for info on locating some HW-104 power amp
transistors. Many of you responded and the transistors have been found.
Thanks to all who aswered the call.

Here's a brief summary of some of the info I received from list members
which may be helpful for others with the HW-104.

The 2N6456 is still available, but rather pricey. Around $30. The CD2664
(the other original option for the 2N2664) may or may not be available,
except from someone with them in their spare parts box. I was fortunate
enough to locate 4 of these. Crimson semi and American microsemi may have
them. NTE makes a substitution, NTE325, but it runs almost $50 at the
source I checked. Surplus Sales of Nebraska has parts for the SB-104, which
is structurally related to the HW-104, and so may have some compatible
HW-104 parts. Finally, some ex-owners of the HW-104 have spare parts for
it, so if you have an HW-104 and need something, try putting the word out
here. Good Luck.

That's it for now. Thanks for the prompt and enthusiastic responses.
