What's LF 13741?

Hola/Hello:
I think the LF13741 was a JFET-input pin-compatible version of the 741. The
suggestion to check out the LF355,356,357 family sounds good, but it would
be best to compare data sheets too...I would not want to simply substitute a
part requiring external compensation for one that might have internal
compensation (as the 741 did). I think theJFET parts have wider bandwidth
and greater slew rate.
Try www.digikey.com ...not sure what you'll find there.

Subject: What's LF 13741?
The preamplifiers for the SO-4552 Heath scope use LF 13741.It
does not appear in ECG, STK, and NTE replacement manuals.
Someone knows if LF13741 can be replaced by a common 741
amplifier?
Thanks in advance.
Jorge Hoyos.
