Comparison of SB303 vs. SB300/301??

The SB-301 doesn't have a solid-state LMO. It's basically the same as
all the other Heathkit LMO's. Also, there's no 6 KHz AM filter available
for those receivers. They had a 3.75 KHz wide filter for the 300/303/303
but 5 KHz for the SB-310. I have an SB-300 and a 303 and the 303 is my
least favorite. There are many reasons which would take a lot of space
on this reflector. Briefly, the 303 is much too sensitive and much more
prone to overload than the 300/301. They also used cheap PC board
connectors which oxidize over time and cause numerous problems. The main
advantage of the 303 is its excellent stability.
