Battery for HM-10-A Tunnel Dipper

Hi William,
Just saw your request for help with the battery is used in this GDO.
You're in luck- I just happened to be using my HM-10-A earlier this
afternoon to check the resonance frequency of a trap that is used in the
Heathkit GR-54 receiver that I'm fixing up.

Before using it this afternoon. I pulled the bottom to ensure the
battery was ok- so I can speak with authority on the issue!!

The battery that is used in this GDO is a standard AA penlight battery.
I currently have my HM-10-A fitted with a standard alkaline AA from
Duracell.

By the way, I've got the original manual for this beatufuly designed
instrument, and would be glad to drop a copy of the schematic in the
mail for ya.
