These are a very common microphone connector made by several
manufacturers. They are available from Mouser, as their Stock Number
502-2501F, made by Switchcraft, at about $3.68 each, (the catalog in
front of me is an older one), less in quanities of 10 or more.
Mouser, 1-800-346-6873. Originally used as mic connectors in audio
equipment, older rigs like Heathkit DX-100, etc., and many test lead
applications. Amphenol also made these, but I've been getting
Switchcraft from Mouser lately. Hope it helps.

Subject: Cabls ends
Does anybody know what kind of cable ends are used to hook up to
the Heathkit IG-102 ( and other brands ) signal generator at the
output terminals ?
They would look almost like PL-259's without the extended center
tip , just a button in the middle.
thanks.
