Low 6146 Prices

I have used 6146Bs in my HW-101 with very good success, the secret to
neutralizing is to do it by the method in the service bulletin, where the
plate and screen voltage are disconnected. The last time I changed out the
finals in my HW-101 I did it first by tuning for max power output and min
plate current. I then went back later the same day and did it per the
service bulletin. The results showed me that I got a lot better results and
I really did not have the optimum neutralization by just doing it max
poweroutput and min plate current method.
Likewise on some other rigs I have found that listening to max or min sig
strength with my ears is not as good as seeing it on a scope or AC VTVM.
