Faceplate Cleaning

Hellow, Heathens (I really like this term)
I am in the process of restoring an HW 10l and was wondering what is the best
way to clean up the front panel and brightening up the lettering without
damaging the lettering. My front panel is perfect but a little dingy. Any
hellp will be appreciated.
