HW 101 Cleaning

Fellow Heathens:
I want to thank all those who responded to my inquiry about cleaning the
faceplate of my HW 101.. I was able to obtain  Goo Gone locally and it worked
just fine. Thanks again.  Anotlher subject.  I have access to a Yaesu FL
2100B Linear amp.  This is the 5 band unit.  I am wondering if anyone out
there has modified this unit to work 17 meters and if so, let me know.
