Microphonics in either crystal or LC oscillators is a very common
problem. I once spent two months with a 4-channel crystal oscillator
AND a CO2 temperature chambre mounted ON a hydraulic vibrator trying to
track down the cause of vibration sensitivity (microphonics) at -10C.
Turned out that the entire assembly needed to be shock-mounted.
