While it is important to safeguard against viruses, it is also important to
avoid yelling "the sky is falling" when hoaxes, such as this, are
transmitted around the internet. Before re-transmitting any virus alerts, I
generally check one of the more reliable virus tracking sites to see if
things are hoxes or not.
