Look, Guys: The manufacturer specifies certain parts for a reason. Don't
try to second guess the engineers unless you are as qualified as they
are! Use the parts recommended. The same thing goes for leaving parts
out, as I have seen inquiries about. Do you think that in a competitive
society they are going to put in unnecessary parts and run the cost up
for no reason?

You can usually substitute a different coax of the same impedance, but
not always. Maybe the circuit needs the additional loss of the small
coax, or the added capacity. Maybe it is better shielded. You will never
know what the design engineers found when they designed and debugged a
radio. Be safe. Use the parts specified.
