HD 1420 VLF converter

Thanks to one and all that have responded with all kinds of info on the
above unit.  I think I remember that the Govt or maybe the Navy used to
have a VLF antenna farm encompassing literally square miles of buried
wire somewhere near the Great Lakes.  That probably means megawatts are
needed to do almost anything at that low a frequency (I mean if you are
going to bury your antenna <g> you are going to need some power)
