Bidding controversy

Mebbe I shouldn't comment, since I'm real new here, but had to throw my 2
cents into this discussion.

Unaware of the current controversy, I listed a few items, asking for
offers, since I had no idea of value, and was rewarded by a number of
polite, reasonable inquiries and offers on some of my stuff. Wonderful!
Thanks to all, and I will be in touch shortly with the high bidders.

I see both sides of the discussion, but cannot see the level of emotion
generated on this issue. Why not live and let live, and those who don't
like auctions are free not to participate, and those, like me, who benefit
thru lack of knowledge of values can benefit likewise. Let's keep in mind
that to most of us, I think, this is a HOBBY, that we do for FUN!

If any of my hobbies aggravated me to the extent that some people in this
discussion seem to be, I'd take up butterfly collecting or something!

Hope I haven't offended anyone, but just trying to keep perspective.
There's lots of fun here for all of us. Don't forget why we do all this!

Best regards and thanks to all

Ron K2RP
