Drake 2T vs. Heathkit DX-??

Well it is possible that I never developed the knack in using mine over
the last ten years.  More likely it's just that I got spoiled by my
Heath and Datong active audio filters back before I gave up the sand
state stuff.

I guess I compare the Drake and the Heath because they were both novice
rigs available new back when I was a novice, which is what George wanted
to know when he said "Perhaps the Drake 2T was competition for a
Heathkit DX-something?  Just curious as to what Heathkit was competing
against"
