J-38 Key?

I need your assistance.  I have an old hand key that looks like a J-38.  I
don't know keys, so forgive my ignorance on calling this a J-38.  It has an
oval, heavy metal, black crinkle finish base.  The only name on it is
"SPEED-X" stamped on an arc and located between the pivot points on the
'swing arm'.  It's condition is like new.  I know the guy I got it from a
'million years' ago never used it and I have never used it.  Does this key
have any market value?
