DX-60

Silly question.  I just acquired a DX-60 with no paper work.  The two 15K
resistors across the filter caps are mounted on the top of the chassis,
the wires running through a grometted hole.  Was this standard?  Maybe a
former owner wanted to reduce heat under the chassis?
