SB-303 problem

Thanks to several who offered advise to my problem.  I have determined so
far that the 12395 het. osc xtal does oscillate throughout the range.
Problem not there. That was easy as I can hear it in another receiver and
it is pure throughout the full 80 mtr. band.  I think I better find a
complete manual.  I thought my copy was complete and now find it is only
about half there!!  Will try shunting the output of the LMO with a 50 ohm
resistor per Bill (WA4LAV) as there are birdies near where the drop off
point occurs near 3800kc. I received 6 replies so far.  What a bunch we
