Hi to all,
As it turns out, according to N8LQR, Heath never used the CK722 transistor.
He sent the following email:
"Heath Company never used the CK722 transistor in its products so you will
not be able to find a Heathkit that used it. The first transistor that
Heath Co. used was the 2N109 and it was their part no. 417-1.
Jan Maldups, N8LQR"
I did some research, and the 2n109 was introduced by RCA in 1956. Does anyone
have any of these 2N109's (date code would be 6X, where X is an alpha).
Also, what Heath projects used this transistor?
Thanks,
Jack W
