Heathkit Radio parts on eBay (Less than human?!)

Dear Steve and the list,
While I think its sad that yet another radio is being parted out, I think
you're going a little off the deep end by calling those that would part out
a radio less than human. Sometimes radios die. That's life. But just because
it sickens you does not give you the right to call someone's humanity into
question! You probably haven't even considerred that the person or persons
in question may have tried in vain to sell the parts before auctioning them.
Even if they didn't, though, it's their right to decide how they want to
sell their parts and certainly has no reflection on their humanity.

                                                  Sincerely,
                                                  Jay Dotson, KF6RMG

P.S. There's already more than enough hate mail out there, can we please
keep it off our reflector?

In my opinion, there is nothing more nauseating and disgusting than to see
someone parting out radios, components, manuals, accessories, etc. via xXxx
or any other auction method. Over a reflector or swapmeet table with a named
price, yes. Auctions, especially xXxx, no way. People doing this go in my
black book and are rated at somewhere less than human beings, yet somewhere
above slugs. Roaches might be an appropriate description. Therefore, I don't
want to know of the existance of either these people nor what they are
pandering, whether or not you were "One of the hams at Heath!".
