SB-610 (Check the IF Installed)

You also need to make sure that the SB-610 has the
correct IF transformers installed for the SB-102.  I
bought one on that infamous auction site and it was
used for RTTY and has no IF transformer installed at
all.  So its a nice decoration for my "shelf of the
living dead" So you need to get a manual and open up
the SB-610 to see what was installed for an IF.  MAny
many of them were built with a 455 IF to be used for
Collins, Hallicrafters, Hammarlund and National rigs.
I havent found a source for the parts necessary to
make mine work with the SB-102 but am always looking.
I have the manual and I can make an archive copy of it
for my own use that I would be glad to loan to you for
as long as you need it. Many people on these
reflectors have done the same for me so I would be
returning a community favor. Let me know Mark
