Hello,
Does anyone know where you can get spare parts for these wind sensors?
I'm really interested in keeping the units as original as possible. I need
an indoor temp sensor for the ID-1290 and another one of the white plastic
wind speed cups (mine are cracked) for the ID-1590. I also need some
original or original looking reed switches. Will the 1290 wind sensors
work on the 1590? They seem to be the same except the 1290 has a temp
sensor wired to wind speed sensor board and the 1590 doesn't.
While I'm on the subject will the ID-4001 wind sensors work on the
ID-5001? They also look the same but I'd rather not try it and ruin
something. Better to ask first.
Has anybody heard of the ID-1490 kit? I'm told it's some type of weather
instrument possibly a thermometer with a clock. It's not in any of my
Heathkit catalogs so I'm just curious if it exsisted. If it does exsist
when did they sell it? I'm aware of the ID-1390 thermometer but this is
supposed to be different.
Thanks,
Jim
