getting out scuffs in plastic cabinets

Hello Heath,
    I have a scuff on the cabinet of a GC-1000 Most Accurate Clock.  It's the
kind of scuff that noone else will probably ever notice, but you know how
that is to the owner.  The plastic has a fine grain molded into it.  Any
suggestions on how to get the scuff out without altering the overall grain?
