Microphone suggestions for Heath xcvrs

Heath used to sell a companion microphone for their SB series gear. It
was an Electro-Voice 638. It does a fine job but I guess any high
quality high impedance dynamic microphone would work as well. Of course,
it's hard not to mention the venerable D-104. When it comes to goos
communications quality on old boat anchor transmitters, it's hard to
beat.
