FS: Non-working HW-22A

This is the Heathkit 40M transceiver.

I bought this a couple of years ago from a guy who told me he built it, but
it never worked.  I planned to go through it as a winter project, but already
have too many winter projects.

The unit doesn't work.  I hooked it up to a power supply: the tubes light,
there's static, but no signals heard.  I haven't checked the tubes or
anything else.  The wiring job looks very nice, and the front panel is
excellent.  It has the original manual, and the cabinet paint looks a little
"worn" with age.

It looks great, but something is obviously wrong.  $35 plus shipping.
