Plan A.
Have found a new motor which has the same case and mounts the same but
the shaft is different. Modification is required. You must make a
bushing
to slide over the new motor shaft. Drill the seconds wheel to fit the
bushing. Glue the wheel onto the motor shaft. The position of the wheel
on the shaft is critical to the proper operation of the minute wheel.
Oh yes, one of the detent springs was missing so made a new from shim
stock. The new motor can be purchased from American Time and Signal Co.
