Another dumb question. My HA-10 does not have a T/R relay built into it.
No real problem to add one but my question is "How large an ampere rating
does the relay have to have in order not to be destroyed by the High Power.
I'd like to use a 12 volt 10 amp Plug In Type relay. I plan to add a
length of RG8X to the circuit for the recieve side of the relay and tie
into the amp's exciter input for the transmit side of the relay. I'll use
a 12 volt relay coil that can be energized by my KW520S. Has anyone out
there done this with the Warrior yet? Some came with a T/R Relay I've
heard but mine has nothing installed. Since I'm using a Transciever it's a
little more complicated than just using a T/R Realy.
Thanks,
Bill
