SB-221 Input

Hi Heathkit Users: I would like to retune the tuned input circuits on my
SB-221 which I use with a Kenwood TS-940SAT. From someone who has done
this before, I'd appreciate a
step by step procedure. I feel a big part of the work concerns removal of
the knobs and front panel in order to reach the slugs. Are any special
"tools" required. Are there any
other tips, suggestions or precautions that one should consider before
starting? Thanks
