Hero 1 Robot

I just bought a Hero 1 robot at a school surplus auction.  Complete except for the battery charger and manual.  I remember wanting one when they first came out, but just couldn't justify the cost then.  I bought this one for $5.  

So now I am on a quest for the manual and charger to bring the little fellow to life.  I would also like to chat (via e-mail) with anyone who has one or has played with one.
