Tight SB tuning??

There IS an adjustment, and it is probably what is wrong. Remove the
tuning knob. Loosen the nut around the tuning shaft. Lift up on the shaft
slightly until you get the feel you want. If you go too far the drive
pulley will come off the dial and you will have to put it back This can
be done by feel. Just be certain to get the drive pulley on both sides of
the dial. I have done this a number of times. The farther you push the
shaft down, the tighter it gets. Good luck.
