Tight SB tuning??

Check to make sure those copper friction disks aren't cracking. That'll do
it too. Due to unavailability at Heath we sometimes tried soldering the back
side of the cracked copper disk/washer, but too much solder makes it too
inflexible, and you sure don't want to solder the two together. We usually
took it apart to do that. It's fussy, and doesn't always give nice results
the first time...might hav eto use wet/dry fine sandpaper to smooth if
solder wicks thru crack.
