Help from ID-4001 Owners!!

Hi! I have (up until yesterday), a fully functional ID-4001 Weather station... yesterday, the wind speed and direction display shows 0 speed and SE direction... but the cups and vane are spinning and rotating up on the roof!!! Help!!! What gives??? Any suggestions would be great!!!
