The entire Heath SB line was designed to look like, and have similar
features to the Collins S-line and KWM-2. Also to perform well with xtal
filters instead of mechanical, the "LMO" instead of the "PTO" and of course
the most obvious difference: a price that Joe Ham could afford.

The most significant thing "lifted" from the KWM/S-line was the size and
shape of the unit. Collins had invented the low-boy look back in the late
fifties- Heath was the only other manufacturer to take notice.
