The LMO is easily checked _if_ you have access to a freq counter or a
general coverage receiver. Just plug the output of the LMO into your
counter, or extend it with a wire 'antenna' near the receiver. LMO should
track linearly from 5.0 MHz to 5.5MHz (regardless of band). If only one band
is off but others are working OK, then the problem is in the het oscillators
and perhaps their crystals (although I never saw a crystal failure...).
