THANKS A MILLION FOR ALL THE RESPONSES THAT I RECEIVED.

The problem was fixed as a result of Larry Gauthier, K8UT, the LMO output was
tuned for 5.0 MHz when the receiver was tuned to 3.5 MHz instead of 4.0 MHz.
The adjustement looked as it had never been touched, paint intact. Anyhow,
receiver now working VERY good.

Again thanks for all of the responses it was truly heartfelt.
