Calibrator for HW 12

Greetings ether agitators:

I have been restoring a Heath HW 12 80 m monobander. Things are coming
along well. I’m almost to the smoke test stage. But I have a question
for the experts.
The set has a blank octal socket for a plug-in crystal calibrator
accessory. In the manual, the calibration section, mention is made of
using a Heath HRA 10-1 calibrator. I have one of those. But in examining
the circuit for it, it doesn’t look like it will work. The spec page of
the manual for the HW 12 appears to call for a 12 volt tube in the
calibrator section, and HRA uses a 6BA6. And the pin-outs don’t seem
right to use the HRA in the HW 12.

So I was wondering if anyone has had experience using the HRA in a
monobander such as HW 12.
