What good is a W5M?

Most collectors of vintage tube audio equipment(pre-amplifiers, amplifiers, and tuners)
prefer the equipment to be as close as stock as possible. Upgraded and reconditioned
equipment command lower prices than original equipment in working condition. This simply
has to do with the historical significance of the item. The SOUND of a restored or
upgraded item is vastly different than the same item in ORIGINAL condition.

For all you audio tube fans and Dynaco fans, feel free to read my articles at TNT
Audio(http://www.tnt-audio.com). I am the Canadian correspondent for this internet hi-fi
magazine. I have articles on Dynaco, tubes, and tube audio equipment.

Happy listening!

Harvey.
