HW-101 power problem

Is this in the TUNE or CW mode?? Might be the balance modulator diodes.
Unlike the previous SB-401 where current was fed through the diodes to
unbalance them, the -101's unbalaced by grounding one end of the bridge. If
the diodes aren't well matched, they may not always turn on.

Someone on the reflector was selling matched quads of hot-carrier diodes
which worked well in my SB-101 (& -401). I lost his name/address however.

> Hello all. I have a HW-101. The problem is when I first turn on the rig it
will only power up to half power. If I let the radio warm up for about half
an hour it is full power. I replaced the finals and driver with nos tubes.
Any ideas? Thanks, Greg.
