what's a good signal generator, that I can afford

Hi Mike,

I have been using a URM-25D military surplus signal generator with good
success.  I know  alot of other folks are using it also.  They seem to run
in the $75 to $175 range depending on condition and number of accessories.
It is a tube based signal generator so I turn it on 24 hours prior to using
it and find it quite stable.  I doubt if the brand new ones in that price
range are anywhere close to a URM-25D in terms of stability and quality.
