One danger in not using Outlook is that some of the other mailers do not use
uuencoding on attachments, nor do they automatically uudecode attachments.
That can make it kind of hard to exchange pix, etc. I recently scanned in a
QST article for someone and he couldn't read it, because he didn't have a
uudecoder (available free for download off the web, by the way).
