Oh but this is the danger in USING it.... if you allow outlook
to automatically launch attachments you're opening yourself
up to viruses, trojan horses and all sorts of mischief.
It's always safer to take a look at attachments before deciding
to launch them, IMHO.

That can make it kind of hard to exchange pix, etc. I recently scanned in a
QST article for someone and he couldn't read it, because he didn't have a
uudecoder (available free for download off the web, by the way).
