Shipping Woes...

Heathens--
     I've seen many messages about shipping woes posted here from time to
time, but I heard one this weekend that almost made me cry.  I was
ragchewing with a buddy and he told me his tale of woe:
     In the late 60's, he was working as a school teacher for the DoD in the
Pacific.  When it came time to move back to the states he lovingly crated up
his Maurauder and other personal belongings and delivered them to the hands
of the US Government for shipping.
     When he went to retrieve his belongings at his destination, he found a
large hole in a crate, with wires and components hanging out...some bozo had
put a forklift tine through the crate and obliterated the Maurader
within...total loss...he had to take the government to court to receive
compensation.
