HW-8 Dial Tracking

Dear Green Group,

On my HW-8, the stations at the bottom of the Ham bands ( each of them)
start at about the 10Khz mark on the dial.

In fact, I can hear the SW Broadcast stations in the first 10KHz  on bands
where they are next to the Ham Band.

However,  on up the dial, W1AW appears where it should.  And the Phone
Stations begin where they should.

I've had this HW-8 for ten years and this problem  has only recently
appeared.

While this is a great rig, I could sure use the extra 10KHZ of tuning space.

I'll check the service bulletins, but also wanted to get ideas from the
Group.  Thank you.
