You oughta chat with the authors of the two Heathkit books.
One is Chuck Penson, who wrote an EXCELLENT book on the whole Heathkit ham
lineup. There is another smaller size Heathkit story book, but I thought it
was so bad that I threw it out.
Perhaps I will renew my CQ subscription.
By the way... I was leafing through some old CQ's (mid '50s) last night, and
saw the add for the company that had the 3 band mods for the single-banders.
There were several companys doing this.
