HW101 AF HUM

Greetings to all,
I have been spending many hours here resurrecting an old HW101. Can't seem
to get rid of hum through speaker, most noticeable when AF control fully
counter clock wise. As one increase AF, hum remains in background. Is this
normal? Can anyone suggest a possible fix for this annoying hum? I have
checked all tubes, they seem to be ok.
