I don't understand the continual denigration of auction services based on
the prices goods sell at. An auction is the only venue where the BUYER
sets the selling price.

Yep, we can all agree that prices get pretty outrageous at times -- how
its hard to believe that something that sold for a paltry sum just a few
years ago is now worth a small fortune to someone.

But that's the way it is. 45 years ago, airplanes that were nothing but
scrap metal to the government are today worth a tidy fortune -- precisely
because there aren't many of them left, and there's little or no hope of
making any more.

It's the same way with Heathkits.
