I have two of them.
Here is your answer....
Walk in to your local Radio Shack with the battery.
Act dumb (there level) and say "I need one of these"
It will make his day to give you the speech about mercury batteries!
Anyway, there cross-reference book has the old battery, and a new
substitution to replace it with. Pops right in the same holder, but it might
be 8 volts or something like that. Mine has been working for 2 years now.
The other still has a working Mercury battery in it. If you have no luck,
let me know and I will pop the back off mine and give you the radio shack
part number.
