Choke for SB-200

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a source for the 28 micro henry
choke that's used in the Heath SB-200 linear amplifier. I'm currently
restoring one of these amplifiers, and this choke is questionable.
When I first tested it, it was open, but I discovered that the lead
on one side was broken. I re-attached what I think is the end of the
winding, but I question if there might be an internal short. The DC
resistance of this choke is less than half an ohm. Could this be
right?

Some time ago, I had checked with Harbach, but offhand, he didn't
know of a substitute. I see two 27 micro henry chokes listed in the
Newark Catalog, but I'm not sure if they're big enough from a power
handling standpoint.

Does anyone have a better idea, or a source for this part?

TIA
