Ray and gang,
My experiance is that you can use RG-58 or 59 or even the video jumper
cables from RadioShack for the LMO and BFO cables but you should use the
prescribed 24" of RG-62 for the Het cable. Otherwise you will have
trouble on the higher bands getting the -300 oscillator to start. As
noted , the capacitance of the RG-62 is about 1/2 of -58.
I was able to buy RG-62 from a local radio store for $0.17/ft. I will
intertain buying some if there is any interest.
