HW-101 Low Output Power

After some suspicion that my HW-101 was having problems, I made the
following
measurements yesterday. I was tuning into a MFJ 300 Watt 50 ohm dummy load.
I found that the maximum output that I could obtain was as follows:
29.5 MHz band - 50 watts
29.0 MHz band - 55 watts
28.5 MHz band - 55 watts
28.0 MHz band - 50 watts
21.0 MHz band - 100 watts
14.0 MHz band - 50 watts
7.0 MHz band - 30 watts
3.5 MHz band - 80 watts

I thought I should be able to get about 100 watts out on all bands except
for 80
meters which should be about 80 watts. However, with the exception of 21
MHz,
I only get about half this amount. 40 meters is especially low. Also, I
have to
turn up the MIC/CW Level nearly fully clockwise before I get any output at
all.

Does anyone have any idea why my 101's output should be so low?? Should I
suspect the 6146A finals?? I have been through the alignment procedure
several
times and never seem to get any better results.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark
