In my seemingly neverending quest to clean out the corners, crevices and
nooks of the shack I came upon a homebrew transmitter someone gave me
for parts.
The transmitter meter is one from Heath, but one I dont
remember seeing on any Heath equipment. Its an MA meter .. scale up
to 150 ma. Printed ON the meter itself, under the plastic cover and
under the needle is HEATHKIT so I know its a Heath meter.
Physically, its about the same size as the square meter from
some of the DX 60 models or maybe even a DX 40. The DX60 with the meter
on the outside of the case and not recessed behind the panel.
I have both and its not exactly the same one, just about the same
physical size and shape.
The backside round and is see through plastic and you can see the
movement inside.
Anyone have any ideas what model Heath might have used it on?
Just curious .. and it will probably be put in the parts bin
until I find some use or destination for it.
